The Accountant 2: SXSW Promo
Some recent work for our MGM client:
The Accountant 2 starring Ben Affleck and Jon Bernthal is premiering at SXSW this year and in the run up to it’s debut there was some fun additional promo media made to support the main trailer pieces.
This spot is a classic “buddy road trip” trope so we needed something with an evergreen sound. The Brenton Wood staple “The Oogum Boogum Song” fit the bill here perfectly. There was an incredibly tight deadline for this but we managed scramble together about 10 potential options just in time for the shoot.
This one was our first and favoriute pull from the beginning and aparently it was Ben and Jon’s favorite as well since they used it on set for playback. After a few days of friendly negotiations with the label we executed a deal and now here it is…
