Clearly Music was founded in 2015 by Jonathan Lane as a creative music services and clearance company positioned to meet the growing demands of entertainment marketing and brand advertising clients.
Since then, it has quietly grown to become a secret weapon among savvy distributors, trailer houses, and brands who need the full slate of contracted in-house music department services with a boutique turn-key approach.
Naturally, Clearly Music expanded into the narrative film and television space. Veteran film & series music supervisor Mike Turner ultimately joined as a partner to enhance reach and bandwidth across all areas of media, and new, exciting projects are now underway.

Clearly Music has an established relationship with the newly renovated Squeek E. Clean Studios Hollywood.
Formerly the iconic Crystal Industries Recording, a string of musical luminaries from the 1960s through the mid-2000s have recorded some of their biggest hits in this legendary space. Carol King, War, Stevie Wonder, Jimi Hendrix, and of course… Smash Mouth, to name a few.
Now also a state-of-the-art post audio facility, preferred access to the studio’s world-class scoring and dub stages is a powerful resource available to Clearly clients.
